Our lodge has been recently expanded and renovated and is a modern day Camargo style lodge which stands tall with a caliche retaining wall and corrales de lena over a gorgeous lake in a large Tiocano Rio bowl named Lago Maria. The comfortable hunting lodge has 12 bedrooms and 14 full bathrooms combined. It is equipped with a fitness room, theater room, game room and cantina . This is the ideal location to relax after an exciting day of South Texas Hunting!
Los Compadres Hangout is Santa Cruz Ranch outdoor entertainment. Great spot for bbq'n, smoking meat, baking pan de campo, drinking beer and playing games. We have shuffleboard, darts and card games.
Meals at the lodge are homemade South Texas cooking, bbq, grilling and baking. For breakfast we'll have eggs, fresh bacon, cornbread hash, corrizo beans, biscuit & gravy casserole and french toast casserole. We serve exotic game like buffalo, elk, nilgai, etc. Occasionally we'll have whitetail, smoked pork and the famous 2F Akasushi steaks. Dinner is served with sides like homemade cornbread, cowboy bread (pan de campo), vegetables, etc.
Ranch Transportation
We make driving around the ranch fun with our onsite hunting rig. Whether you are hunting trophy whitetails, axis deer, exotic game, or on a nature tour it gives you a whole different perspective of the ranch and wildlife. It's perfect for your safari-style hunts and just some fun family ride alongs. We also have a battery-operated bad boy and a Polaris RANGER.
